Several press reports revealed on Thursday that the American club Los Angeles FC is interested in signing South Korean Son Heung-min, the Tottenham Hotspur player.
According to the British newspaper "The Athletic", Los Angeles FC is making strenuous efforts to sign Son Heung-min during the summer transfer window.
Los Angeles FC has previously expressed interest in Son, but the American club is keen to bring the South Korean international to MLS in the coming weeks.
She added that no agreement has been reached yet, but talks are ongoing, and Los Angeles FC hopes Son will be convinced to join the team through the end of the 2025 season and beyond.
The MLS secondary transfer market opens on July 24 and runs through August 21.
Son, 33, appears to be out of new Tottenham manager Thomas Frank's plans for his new club - at least in his usual starting role.
