Paris Saint-Germain, under coach Luis Enrique, joined a short list of football clubs to have won the historic treble in a single season in Europe, after defeating Inter Milan 5-0 in the Champions League final on Saturday, winning the title for the first time in their history.
Winning the treble is extremely difficult in a season packed with matches and tournaments, in addition to teams suffering from recurring injuries. However, only a few clubs and coaches have succeeded in doing so, some of whom have done it more than once, such as Enrique, who has achieved the treble for the second time in his coaching career.
Luis Enrique and Pep Guardiola are the only coaches in football history to have won the treble with two different clubs. Guardiola's first was with Barcelona in 2009 and then with Manchester City in 2023. Enrique also achieved it with the Blaugrana in 2015 and then with Paris Saint-Germain in 2025.
