Egypt's Pyramids FC will face South Africa's Mamelodi Sundowns on Sunday at 8:00 PM at Cairo's Air Defense Stadium in the second leg of the CAF Champions League final.
The first leg between the two teams in South Africa ended in a 1-1 draw.
Pyramids FC reached the CAF Champions League final at the expense of South Africa's Orlando Pirates, while Sundowns advanced to the same round at the expense of Egypt's Al Ahly.
The Egyptian team is participating in the CAF Champions League final for the first time in its history, seeking its first victory against Sundowns, which would be the equivalent of its first CAF Champions League title. A win by any score or a goalless draw would hand Pyramids the title.
On the other hand, Sundowns, who are playing in the final for the third time, are looking to win their second title in the tournament.
His last title was in 2016, against the Egyptian club Zamalek.
This will be the fourth meeting between the two teams in the CAF Champions League. Pyramids have never won a match in this competition, drawing twice and winning only once for the South African team.
It is worth noting that Al-Ahly of Egypt is the champion of the last edition of the African Champions League, having won it at the expense of Esperance of Tunisia.
