Tottenham Hotspur officially announced on Wednesday that Swedish star Dejan Kulusevski has sustained an injury, days before the Europa League final against Manchester United.
Kulusevski suffered an injury to his right knee during last Sunday's match against Crystal Palace, and the club confirmed that he underwent surgery.
Tottenham said in an official statement: "We can confirm that Dejan Kulusevski suffered a patella injury to his right knee during our Premier League match against Crystal Palace last weekend."
The statement added: "After consulting with a specialist doctor, the midfielder underwent surgery today and will begin his rehabilitation with our medical staff immediately. We are all with you."
Kulusevski will miss next Wednesday's Europa League final against Manchester United in Bilbao.
