Real Madrid announced on Wednesday that Moroccan international player Brahim Diaz has sustained an injury and will miss the match against Real Mallorca.
Real Madrid will host Mallorca this evening, Wednesday, at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, in the 36th round of La Liga.
Real Madrid announced that their Ukrainian goalkeeper, Andriy Lunin, was injured and excluded from the match squad.
Real Madrid issued a statement on its official website announcing Diaz's injury, saying: "Following tests carried out today on our player Brahim Diaz by Real Madrid's medical services, he has been diagnosed with an injury to the adductor longus muscle in his left thigh. The result is uncertain." Real Madrid did not reveal how long Diaz would be out.
Real Madrid's squad for the Mallorca match will be without Andriy Lunin, Eduardo Camavinga, Dani Carvajal, David Alaba, Eder Militao, Antonio Rüdiger, Ferland Mendy, Vinicius Junior, Lucas Vázquez, and Rodrygo Goes.
Barcelona tops the La Liga table with 82 points, 7 points ahead of second-placed Real Madrid.
