Bayern Munich's Harry Kane said he was happy to end his long trophy drought after winning the Bundesliga title in his second season with the club.

The England captain set a league record two weeks ago by scoring his 60th goal in his first 60 league games for Bayern, and the 31-year-old looks set to become the first player in Bundesliga history to be crowned the league's top scorer in his first two seasons.

"What a great night last night, what great celebrations with the players and staff, I'm sure everyone is feeling a little bit of that this morning, but we're here," Harry Kane said in a video on Monday.

"I feel great. It's been a long time coming, and obviously it took a lot of hard work and a lot of dedication. I'm happy to win the title, which is the first in my career," he added.

He continued: "I appreciate all this support, and as always, it is always on my mind. I am looking forward to enjoying the next two weeks, and I am looking forward to being at the Allianz Arena on Saturday and celebrating in front of the fans."

"And then, as always, we look forward to the next time, and we go again and try to get the second number," he continued.

Former Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane has scored over 400 goals for club and country, making him England's all-time top scorer and second on the Premier League's all-time list.
