Spanish midfielder Sergio Busquets, who plays for the American club Inter Miami, revealed his team's chances in the 2025 Club World Cup, scheduled to kick off on June 14 in the United States.
Inter Miami is participating in the tournament as the host team, and is in Group A alongside Al Ahly of Egypt, Palmeiras of Brazil, and Porto of Portugal.
"We're clearly not at the level to compete in the Club World Cup, but we'll try to compete in the group," Busquets told DAZN while attending the Miami Formula 1 Grand Prix.
He added, "We will take each match individually, we will fight, and we hope to qualify for the next stage, although it will be difficult."
It is worth noting that the 2025 Club World Cup will be the first edition in its new format, with the participation of 32 teams.
