Zamalek finished the Egyptian Premier League season with a 2-0 victory over FC Pharco in the final round of the crowning group.
The match between Zamalek and Pharco was held at Cairo International Stadium, today, Saturday.
Mohamed Shehata scored Zamalek's first goal in the 26th minute of the first half with a powerful shot from outside the penalty area, while Mohamed El-Sayed scored the second goal for the Whites after a decisive pass from veteran Mahmoud Abdel-Razek "Shikabala."
Zamalek player Nabil Emad "Dunga" was injured during the first half of the match, prompting the coach to replace him with Nasser Maher.
Zamalek secured third place in the Egyptian Premier League standings (crowning group) with 47 points after eight matches.
Meanwhile, Pharco FC ranked seventh in the Egyptian League with 32 points.
