Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou says James Maddison's injury "doesn't look good" as he waits to know the extent of the problem ahead of Thursday's Europa League semi-final second leg against Bodø/Glimt.

Maddison scored in Tottenham's 3-1 win over the Norwegian side in the first leg on Thursday, but was substituted in the second half with an injury.

The attacking midfielder was not included in Tottenham's squad for Sunday's 1-1 Premier League draw with West Ham.

"Things don't look good for James Maddison, but we're waiting for more information," Postecoglou told BBC Sport after the match. "We'll wait and see, and hopefully we'll get some clarity on Monday."

Dominic Solanke, who sealed the midweek win, also missed the match against West Ham due to injury.

But Postecoglou was more optimistic about the striker's chances in the return leg in Norway.

He added: "Solanke is improving, and we expect him to be fine on Thursday. We left him out against West Ham to allow him to recover better, but the medical team is fully confident that he will be ready to participate on Thursday."

If Tottenham manage to overcome Bodø/Glimt next Thursday, they will face either Manchester United or Athletic Bilbao in the final on May 21.
