According to the Spanish newspaper Sport, Barcelona, even the last time they lifted the trophy in 2015, failed to win the semi-final away to Bayern Munich.
In the 2011-2012 season, the Blaugrana lost the first leg against Chelsea 1-0, and in the 2012-2013 season, when Barcelona reached the semi-finals for the sixth consecutive time, they lost away to Bayern Munich in the first leg.
The last time Barça reached the Champions League semi-finals, they suffered a heavy 4-0 defeat to Liverpool at Anfield despite winning the first leg 3-0 at home.
The newspaper pointed out that Barcelona struggles in away matches when it comes to the Champions League semi-finals, as the last time they won away in this round was against their eternal rivals Real Madrid in the 2010/2011 season. In total, the Blaugrana have played 15 away matches, achieving two wins, two draws, and 11 defeats.
It is worth noting that the winner of the Barcelona-Inter Milan match will face the winner of the other semi-final match between Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain in the final.
