Real Madrid is holding a face-to-face meeting with defender Dean Huysen to finalize the contract, according to Sky Sports journalist Fabrizio Romano.
Romano added via his account on the social networking site "X": "The contract termination clause agreement for 50 million pounds was concluded with Bournemouth yesterday, Wednesday."
It is worth noting that Huyssen left Juventus last summer for €15 million, but he excelled under Andoni Iraola at Bournemouth.
He also appeared for Spain against the Netherlands in the UEFA Nations League, providing an assist for Lamine Yamal.
Houston will be Real Madrid's first signing after failing to win the Spanish league, the Copa del Rey, and the Champions League.
