Pyramids FC suffered an unexpected 3-2 defeat at the hands of hosts Pharco FC on Sunday at Alexandria Stadium in the fourth round of the Egyptian Premier League.
Farco took the lead with two goals to none, through Ahmed Sherif (55) and Mahmoud Emad (66), before Pyramids reduced the difference through Ibrahim Adel (75).
In the 84th minute, Farco scored their third goal through Amr Nasser from a penalty kick.
Marawan Hamdy reduced the deficit for Pyramids in the 90th minute, with a similar goal to Ibrahim Adel's, following a perfect cross from Mohamed El-Sheeb.
With this result, Pyramids' tally remained at 47 points at the top of the standings, while Pharco raised its
